ECO Council visit Swale Borough Council.

We were very lucky to to be invited to the Council Offices in Sittingbourne this week.

The children who attended were able to find out more about why it is important for us a whole school to be Green Champions.

The children learned about how pollution affects us everyday and were asked to think of ways we could reduce the pollution around our school.

The general consensus understood by the children was to not drive to school if you can walk, roller skate, skate board or ride your bike.

The children were really excited about the initiatives suggested by the Councillors and are eager to put them into practice at school this year.

More details will follow.

Don’t forget to check Kentonline for the photos taken from the meeting.

Well done to Ellie, Year 6, Rosie, Year 5, Alfie, Year4, Finlei-Mai, Year 3, Aston, Year 2 and Macie Year 1, you were impeccably behaved and made really valid contributions!
