During our recent staff training day we were very lucky to have a visit from Kathryn Barton from Kent Wildlife. She led us in a day of learning in our woodland area. We had great fun building and lighting fires, creating shelters and making wooden objects, but more importantly we learnt how forest school learning can benefit our children.
We are very lucky to have such a wonderful resource in our grounds and we have big plans to utilise it for the benefit of all the children at Kemsley primary academy.
We look forward to sharing our plans with you as the school year goes on.
