Wow! Year 5 and 6 had a fantastic Friday in Greenwich last week, learning all about time and space at the fantastic Royal Observatory. We moved between the past and future by crossing over the Prime Meridian line and climbed up to explore the largest optical telescope in the UK. Our visit was rounded off with an amazing journey through space in the Planetarium where we found out about Dark Matter and the shape of our Universe.
All the adults were incredibly proud of how well our children behaved throughout the day and we know our topic learning this term will benefit greatly from such a starting point. Thank you to all the parents and carers for your support with this trip.
