The Eco Council have been busy over the past few terms raising awareness about the importance of looking after our native birds.
Due the the generousity of parents and pupils when collecting the Morrisons garden vouchers we have been able to exchange the vouchers for 5 Birdboxes!
The Eco Council spent some time camouflaging the Birdboxes so they can be added to the Woodland area, the children did an amazing job and knew that the boxes needed to be camouflaged so the birds would feel safe and protected from any predators!
We learnt about what types of birds might choose to nest in our boxes, we decided that we may see Blue Tits, Wrens and possibly Pied Flycatchers!
Everyone keep an eye out in the Woodlands!
