Year 6 had North America as their continent for world book day and started the day by reading the book ‘If I were president’. From this, they wrote their own stories about being president for the day and then turned these stories into a class book. Throughout the afternoon we worked on a North America webquest, using the iPads to find the answer to many interesting questions about North America. We also looked at the origin of totem poles and created our own totem designs.
