Today, Willow Class carried out an investigation to see how far and how easily germs spread. For our investigation five children had their hands covered in glitter and we all had to imagine the tiny pieces of glitter were germs. We then took part in simple activities such as catching a ball, chasing each other around the playground and playing a game of ‘stuck in the mud.’ After we had completed these activities we examined our hands, face, clothes and the objects we were playing with to see just how far germs can spread. We were shocked by the results! We recorded our findings in our books.
