So far this term we have taken part in lots of fun activities at Forest School.
We found some amazing wildlife including a lizard, a Speckled Wood butterfly and a frog!
A hotel for insects.
We built our own den.
We created our own garden using a wooden pallet, we planted wild flowers and vegetables. Then we decorated it using paint.
Having fun in our new hammock!
We also had a go at lighting our own fires. First, we learnt about the fire triangle; a fire needs oxygen, heat and fuel. Next, we opened a cotton wool pad and added Vaseline. Then, we used a fire steel to ignite the cotton wool. We waited until the fire had died before we placed it into a bucket of water.
