Mum, ‘I had a dream Rosemary Shrager was making breakfast in our kitchen!’

These are the words of our very own Macey, one of the Queen’s 90th Birthday Cake Finalists for Kent. Today, Macey took her beautiful cake to County Hall, Maidstone to be judged by Lady De L’ Isle, wife of the Lord Lieutenant of Kent and Rosemary Shrager. There were thirteen schools that made todays final;

Saltwood and Bodsham C of E Primary

Cage Green Primary

Eastry Primary

Hawkinge Primary

Kemsley Primary

Kingsdown and Ringwould C of E Primary

Newlands Primary

Sandgate Primary

Sissinghurst C of E

Sutton Valence Primary

Tunstall Primary

West Borough Primary

Wittersham Primary

We sadly did not get paced 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

Well done to Macey for making the finals, it was a truly marvellous day, with lots of beautiful cakes. Macey will be sharing her story with the children in celebration assembly on Friday and showing her commemorative coin, the prize or reaching the finals.
