On Thursday, the Girls and Boys Federated Football teams made the long journey from Sittingbourne to Essex to compete in the Hornchurch Football Tournament. The boys tried their best, but were up against some quality individuals and eventually lost their final games on penalties.
The girls, however, played fantastically well as a team and in the true spirit of the game and managed to win the final 4-2! All of the children that took part were a credit to both schools and a huge thank you to Mr Hadfield, Miss Teague and Mrs Hughes for their help transporting the children to and from Essex.
