Nursery children loved celebrating the end of our current topic, What happens when I fall asleep?
They have learnt that people work during the night; like nurses, fire fighters, police and shop workers. They have also learnt a new word ‘nocturnal’ and now know which animals are awake at night. We all know what groups of stars are called and have had lots of fun in the dark tent exploring different constellations!
What a great way to end our topic with a Pyjama party! We wore our favourite onesie or pyjamas, creating weaved stars and paper chains! Finishing off with some delicious milk and biscuits and a favourite bedtime story….’Father Christmas needs a wee!’
