We investigated what materials make make the loudest sound. To make our test fair we weighed out 100g of flour, sugar, pasta, rice and sand and placed each ingredient into a different sealed pot. We then predicted which material would make the loudest sound when the pots were shaken. Most of us predicted correctly that the pasta would make the loudest sound but our other predications were proved incorrect in our results.
