On Friday, during maths, we started to learn about equivalent fractions. We discussed what is meant by the term ‘equivalent’. We soon realised we could apply our knowledge of halving a number to identify fractions that are equivalent to 1/2. We then used our knowledge to build a fraction wall.
Year 3 have been developing their knowledge and understanding of angles throughout the week; we have learnt about obtuse, acute and right angles.
