Oak class had great fun in the woodland for the first time. After a picnic snack in the outdoor classroom we set off to explore!
Maple Class have been applying their knowledge of 3D shapes today. They looked at each shape and matched it to their correct name by counting the number of vertices, faces and edges.
Well done to all the members of Art Club for your amazing underwater scenes. Some of the children completed their pictures today & were able to take their creations home.
Maple Class experienced Kahoot for the first time this afternoon. We played against each other to answer questions on 3D shapes. Well done to Thomas & Aronas for being our first winning team! Well done to Ruby & Evie and Alex & Corey for being our well deserved runners up.
Year 5 conducted a science investigation this afternoon, testing different surfaces for friction. We discovered that the hall created less friction than any other surface.
Year 3 explored parallel and perpendicular lines in maths today; to start the lesson they had to estimate whether they thought the lines in the pictures were parallel or perpendicular and then they used QR codes to help them check to see if their estimations were correct.
