In our first full week together as a year 6 class, we have been planning our own musical performance, started a science experiment and some of us dressed up for Roald Dahl day! Below are some pictures from our week.
Year 1 & Year 2 had a great time making magic potions this afternoon, just like those from George’s Marvellous Medicine!
When done to Matthew, Oliver D & Katie for passing their 2 times tables in the first week! Keep up the hard work!
The children in Maple Class have been following the super moves of Bridget the Lioness, to help them learn their 2 times tables.
A jar of quiet critters arrived in Maple Class this evening. They will only venture out of their jar & sit with children who are working quietly. Who will be the first to receive a quiet critter?
Willow Class had a fantastic Roald Dahl day! Thank you to everyone who dressed up. We especially enjoyed making our own marvellous medicine and watching it overflow!
Today, Willow Class investigated raindrops. Unfortunately, we could not get the weather to help us, so we made our own rain with different equipment. Our predictions varied from ‘as big as an eyeball’ to ‘it changes if it is raining hard or not a lot’.Our budding scientists are becoming experts on the water cycle!
