Year 6 researched concentration camps this afternoon. We found out who was sent to the concentration camps, why they were sent and what happened to the people sent there. We watched a few clips of ‘The Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas’. We then sketched a drawing of Bruno, the son of the commandant of Auschwitz, and Shmuel, a Jewish boy from the concentration camp.
