On Tuesday, Year 4 spent the morning at Bunnings creating our own bird boxes! When these are finished, some will be placed in our woodlands to encourage birds to nest next year.
Year 4 spent the afternoon applying their knowledge of producers and consumers to create food chain mobiles.
During our Express Event, year 4 created some fantastic underwater scenes using watercolour paint.

Year 4’s topic for term 3 is Flow. Yesterday, we created our own models to show the key features of a river.

Year 4 were invited, by Swale in Bloom, to plant poppy seeds in the flower bed on Ypres Drive. We hope to see the beautiful red flowers next year.
Year 4 decorated a net for a 3D shape. Then, they filled their shapes with dried pasta and seeds to create percussion instruments. They investigated how to create different rhythms by shaking and tapping the instruments in a regular pattern.
