Oak class have had a fantastic first week at school. Already settling into the routine and having lots of fun!
Oak class will all being getting the opportunity to take part in cooking sessions this term. We think it is going to be great fun cooking with Mrs Hughes in the “Snack Shack”
Oak class enjoyed a different snack this morning. We had toast and honey, which gave us the opportunity to practise using tools to spread and cut.
What an amazing day at the first “Early Years Games” Children from Greenfields and Kemsley participated in a range of sporting activities throughout the day. During the hot weather this afternoon we explored paper folding to make fans to keep cool. Some of us also made paper planes!
We had great fun this afternoon using the inflatables on the field. Thank you year 6 for sharing them with us!
In maths this afternoon we used our new 100 square to explore counting and maths problems. Then we used smaller 100 squares to play a listening game. We had to colour in one more and one less than a given number. Some of us accepted the challenge to find 10 more and even 20 more … Continue reading
Oak class had fun on the field this afternoon when Mr Summerfield and one of the year 6 pupils came to visit us. We played games that helped us practise throwing and catching and also counting! Thank you Mr Summerfield and Madi!

Oak class enjoyed a fantastic visit to Wingham Wildlife park. We had the chance to see lots of different animals and we even got the chance to touch and hold some of them. Thank you to all the adults that came with us to help on our trip, we had a great time!
