During the hot weather this afternoon we explored paper folding to make fans to keep cool. Some of us also made paper planes!

Oak class had fun on the field this afternoon when Mr Summerfield and one of the year 6 pupils came to visit us. We played games that helped us practise throwing and catching and also counting! Thank you Mr Summerfield and Madi!

Oak class enjoyed a fantastic visit to Wingham Wildlife park. We had the chance to see lots of different animals and we even got the chance to touch and hold some of them. Thank you to all the adults that came with us to help on our trip, we had a great time!
The children in gymnastics club have had lots of fun exploring climbing and balancing this week. They have had the chance to use the wall bars and lots of other climbing apparatus.
Oak class tried some delicious snacks this week, thanks to Annabelle who went shopping for all her favourite things! For some of us it was the first time we had tried hummus dip and crackers and fresh pineapple. Most of us agreed they were delicious!
Today Oak class were finally able to taste some of the foods we have been growing over the last few weeks. After carefully planting and looking after the seeds, we were able to harvest our lettuce.
