Oak class had some of their families join them for some outdoor learning this morning. We had to read the clues to find shapes and letters hidden around the school grounds, and then record them on our clipboard.
As part of our eco councillors challenge we have been asked to grow tomatoes. Year 3 are currently keeping a close eye on how our tomatoes are growing each day. We have been providing them with a drink of water everyday and they are slowing starting to grow.
Oak class used snack time to practise the skills they had been learning in maths. They worked with a partner to make sure each of them had half a pancake and half of the grapes. Well done Oak class, great problem solving!
Maple Class enjoyed celebrating the wedding of Prince Harry & Meghan Markle with a special Royal lunch; luckily the sun shone for the occasion.

Yesterday afternoon we looked at the different parts of a part, we then researched the function of each part.
After plenty of water & sunshine our sunflowers are growing extremely fast, so fast we have had to take them home to be planted in the ground! Mrs Woolley & I look forward to seeing pictures of all your giant sunflowers once they are fully grown.
