Maple Class had great fun this afternoon making ‘foaming, fizzy potions’. We all got extremely excited when our colourful potions started bubbling over!
Our new Sycamore Class have had a really good, settled start to their final academic year at Kemsley! We are all armed up with our new green fleeces and the hard work has already begun.
Year 3 came into school dressed as some wonderful well known characters from Roald Dahl’s collection of wonderful books.
On Thursday it was Roald Dahl day, some of the class chose to dress up and what a fantastic effort they made! Here they are in all their glory!
This afternoon in art club the children learnt about the technique of pointillism. We then used this technique, of painting with dots, to create a picture of a fish. Next week we will create the underwater background for our fish.
Maple Class enjoyed their P.E. lesson this afternoon when learning how to dribble & control a football.
In our first week at Forest School we had a Big Bug Hunt. We found lots of species including earwigs, millipedes, centipedes and spiders. We also created name badges using a palm drill.
As part of our topic Heroes and Villains, we have read extracts from 101 Dalmatians. In DT we created our own Dalmatian sock puppets.
