Year 4 created a dot picture of Autumn using a cotton wall bud and paint. The children were using the orange, yellow and brown paint as the representation of the leaves falling off the trees in Autumn.

Year 3 visited Kemsley Stone Age Art Gallery last week. We had great fun looking at and discussing the different art work from the Stone Age.
Year 6 had great fun in science this afternoon when they carried out a scientific investigation. We changed different components in a circuit then observed the effect it had.
Year 6 created some amazing Victorian silhouettes for our topic display board. Well done to all the children; your artwork looks fantastic!
Year 4 have been learning about the 27 wooden coffins which have recently been found in Egypt. The children worked together to retell the significant event using various actions, vocabulary and terminology.
Last Thursday, Willow Class put on our palaeontology hats and excavated some dinosaur teeth from blocks of clay. We identified which dinosaur each tooth came from and then looked for clues as to whether the dinosaur had once been a carnivore or a herbivore.
Yesterday, we took on the roles of dinosaur experts and interviewed each other, asking probing questions and sharing the dinosaur facts we have learnt.
For the second year running we have been invited to the Mayor’s chamber in Sittingbourne Council Offices to receive an award for one of our entries.
