Whole School

Such a generous gift!

The Eco Council were amazed when we found out that Mr Kmietowicz had nominated us for a community project within Waitrose in Aylesford. We are developing the courtyard outside Nursery into a community garden and Mr Kmietowicz thought it a lovely idea to help us raise some funds for the area. Diversity Poetry.

Well done to all the children in years 1 – 6 who took part in the diversity poetry competition today.  All entries will be sent to Premier League Primary Stars.  After reading through the poems in each year I’m certain we have some winners! Well done all!

Art exhibition

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our art exhibition after school, the children were all thrilled that they were able to share their incredible work with you as well as extremely encouraging and persuasive with helping you make your decision whether or not to purchase their work.

Football Tournaments

Last week we travelled twice to Maidstone for two football tournaments on Thursday (Boys) and Friday (Girls). The competition was fierce on both occasions and we were unlucky not to progress further. A massive well done to all of the children that participated and the parents/carers that came to support.

Bake off…

Some of our year 6 children took part in a bake off this week… The prize was to be entered into the Kent Young Cooks competition.  As you can see, the standard was incredibly high!  Quite a few of our staff enjoyed ‘testing’ the produce!  Our winners (Oliwia and Freya) have been entered into the Continue reading

Tag Rugby

Well done one to the children in Maple & Beech Class who took part in the tag rugby festival this afternoon.  All the children participated in rugby activities before taking to the pitch to play head to head games against other schools in the area.  An excellent effort was displayed by all!

Football Tournament @ Minterne

Last Saturday, we travelled over to Minterne for the annual boys football tournament. Drawn in a difficult group of Iwade, Bobbing and Minterne; we finished second in our group and only needed one more goal to progress through to the semi-finals. The boys performed fantastically and the support from all that attended was much appreciated.
