On Wednesday, we took a team over to Maidstone to compete in a football tournament. Everyone played superbly and we all throughly enjoyed the day! Below are some photos.
In science this afternoon Willow Class went on the hunt for minibeasts in trees and bushes around the school and in the woodland.
Oak class enjoyed taking part in this terms tribal challenge, a relay race. All our practise during the daily mile is paying off, as everyone did a great job of persevering and collaborating to complete the 40 laps. Well done Oak class.
In literacy Year1 used the iPads to complete a virtual tour of London some visited the Oval, The Royal Albert Hall and The British Museum.
Willow Class used the iPads to create a picture of a London vehicle. Designed a London background and created sliders to move their vehicles.
To understand positional language for maths Year 1 used the Adventure Village to practically explore.
We acted out the Queen’s hat by Steve Antony. One person in the group pretended to be the hat and the rest of the group had to chase it to different landmarks in London. We needed to understand the characters to write our own narrative.
On the last day of term in phonics we had an alternative grapheme hunt for the phoneme ‘ee’
