We were all excited to go to the woodland on Wednesday for literacy. We pretended we were Superworm popping out of the ground and used our senses to say what we could hear, see, smell and feel. Lots of spiderwebs!
The children in Willow Class had a fantastic time completing the mini mudder. Great achievements made by all.
Year One had an amazing time on the inflatables.
Thank you to everyone who was able to make our Express Event yesterday. The children had lots of fun showing their parents around the art gallery and playing games.
In Willow Class today, we spent the day making models of animals using all of our recycling. The children started off by planning which animal they wanted to make, then made it and painted it in their groups.
Today we went on an animal hunt to see what animals we could find in the woodlands and on the field. The children marked off each animal they saw in a Tally Chart and then created their own pictograms.
Year 1 had some different Reading Buddies this afternoon: year 6 children. We all had a lovely time reading and listening to stories.
Willow Class had another fun day in Year 2. All the children impressed the adults in Maple Class with their character descriptions of the Yoga Ogre. The children in Willow Class spent the afternoon in Year 2. The children took turns telling the adults in class something interesting about themselves. They then completed a piece of jigsaw puzzle telling everyone what they like to do. The pieces will be joined together and put up in the cloakroom in September. Afterwards, we … Continue reading
Willow Class joined Maple Class for a game of rounders this morning. All the children played really well and had a great time. It was a close game but team 1 won by two rounders.
