Today in phonics we went on a word hunt to practise our sounding out and blending. They all all worked so well and so calmly to do this – I am very proud of them.
We have two new additions to Willow Class: Hugsy and Gus. The children will be able to bring the Reading Buddies home for one night so they can read their reading books with them. We had lots of fun in Willow Class measuring the length of objects with cubes. Lots of children measured their pencils, books and table legs.
Children from Year R, Year 1 & Year 2 enjoyed their first art club session after school today. The children made hedgehogs out of paper plates & dried leaves, which they had fun collecting from the school grounds.
