Year 1 and 2 joined together for a fun-filled morning getting ready for our Rio Express Event! We made colourful wristbands, chocolate and coconut sweets, juicy fruity cocktails and extremely noisy shakers!! It was great fun! Thanks to the staff for organising this.
Year 2 learned about the festival of Raksha Bhandan in RE last week. Today we had great fun designing and making our own Rakhis.
In art art club we dew around our arm and hand and painted in brown to create the trunk of a tree. We then use out fingertips to create the leaves of the tree.
Year 2 had great fun dressing up as characters from the story of “The Swan Princess” during their trip to Leeds Castle
We all loved watching the pantomime Peter Pan this afternoon.
Cheeky Charlie visited Maple Class last night and left us a lovely Christmas message.
What an amazing Christmas party we had in Maple Class! There was lots of dancing, games and eating. Thank you so much for your kind food contributions…we will be having leftovers all week!
