Once again, we took full advantage of some good ‘drying weather’ to complete our model volcanoes. They look fantastic and are ready for an eruption.
Beech Class took advantage of some greatly appreciated warm and sunny weather to start to make their models of volcanoes. We started with a plastic bottle and built up the mountain using polysteyrene, newspaper and plenty of PVA glue. Watch for further updates.
It was quite a squeeze, but thank you to all the parents who came in today to help us with our learning. We managed to produce some quite convincing adverts for our potions, showed our knowledge of solids, liquids and gases with a science quiz and had time to start a word search! Thank you to Rick and Bob who came in with their 44 ton cab to give us some road safety guidence. We all got the chance to sit in the cab, to get a lorry drivers view of the road, and found out more about safety around thse vehicles.

Beech Class were excited this week to start their term of dance with Miss Hazel on Wednesday. It was energetic, lively and fun and the only time of the week we were allowed to show our attitude! We look forward to showing our learning in our class assembly next term.
Beech Class last week enjoyed making and selling friendship bracelets, choc-o-cakes and pebble people at our Enterprise Fayre. Thanks to your kind generosity, we managed to raise just over £60.
