We Love Reading

Cruella De Vil

The children in year three and four had the shock of their lives when Cruella De Vil showed up in Beech Class!! The children were able to ask her questions and quiz her on her villainous ways. Look out for the work we will produce based on Cruella’s visit.

Gods and Mortals express event

Thank you to all the parents who were able to support their childrens learning, taking part in some of our Gods and Mortals learning. We started to make our papier-mâché heads of the minotaur and the children were able to share their books with their parents.

Ash and Beech Class get crafty

Both Ash and Beech Class made figures out of natural materials with the help of Amicus Horizon, ready to be displayed on their stand at the Kent County Show next month at The Detling Showground. Visitors to the show can vote for their favourite and a prize has been promised for the most popular figure.

They are themed to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and are flavoured with chocolate, chocolate orange, vanilla and blueberry buttercream icing. We were excited to take home our four, hand decorated Continue reading

Erupting volcanoes.

Thank you to the parents who joined us for our learning this week, who saw us end our Tremors learning by erupting our volcanoes, using a mixture of vinegar and bicarbonate of soda, and testing our earthquake proof houses.
