Year 3 have been busy at home producing a factsheet for their ‘team’ in this years World Cup. These have all been displayed in the classroom, as you can see, and we are updating our wall chart every day. Well done to frontrunners Ross, Nancee and Daniel, who have Brazil, Germany and Holland respectively.
As part of our Scrumdiddlyumptious! learning, we were extremely lucky to have two very talented cake decorators helping us to create these amazing cakes. They are themed to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and are flavoured with chocolate, chocolate orange, vanilla and blueberry buttercream icing. We were excited to take home our four, hand decorated … Continue reading
Congratulations to our Year 3 and 4 team of hockey players who competed in the Swale Quick Sticks Hockey tournament on Monday at Borden Grammar School. After some coaching from David, a Year 11 pupil at the school, (whose hair was as impressive as his hockey skills!), we played 6 games in all, winning four … Continue reading

Beech Class took advantage of some greatly appreciated warm and sunny weather to start to make their models of volcanoes. We started with a plastic bottle and built up the mountain using polysteyrene, newspaper and plenty of PVA glue. Watch for further updates.

We managed to produce some quite convincing adverts for our potions, showed our knowledge of solids, liquids and gases with a science quiz and had time to start a word search! Thank you … Continue reading
