Both Ash and Beech Class made figures out of natural materials with the help of Amicus Horizon, ready to be displayed on their stand at the Kent County Show next month at The Detling Showground. Visitors to the show can vote for their favourite and a prize has been promised for the most popular figure.
Year 3 have been busy at home producing a factsheet for their ‘team’ in this years World Cup. These have all been displayed in the classroom, as you can see, and we are updating our wall chart every day. Well done to frontrunners Ross, Nancee and Daniel, who have Brazil, Germany and Holland respectively.
As part of our Scrumdiddlyumptious! learning, we were extremely lucky to have two very talented cake decorators helping us to create these amazing cakes. Thank you to the parents who joined us for our learning this week, who saw us end our Tremors learning by erupting our volcanoes, using a mixture of vinegar and bicarbonate of soda, and testing our earthquake proof houses.
Earlier this week, Beech Class ventured into the woodland area, armed with sheets, pegs and rope.
