This week, we made delicious crumpets with Mrs Hughes in the Snack Shack.
Today we looked at the artist Vincent van Gogh and created our own landscapes using oil pastels.
This week Year 4 wrote explanation texts about how the ear works. All the children worked incredibly hard and their final drafts were amazing!
On Wednesday, we had a mixed football match against Regis Manor. Although the result didn’t go our way, the team performed superbly, especially considering the age of some of the players.
Some of Year 3 and 4 participated in a speed stacking challenge at Oasis Academy yesterday afternoon, the children had a lot of fun and enjoyed being able to work as a team to develop their speed stacking skills.
This afternoon, we took 10 children over to the Oasis Academy for a Cross Country event. I’m delighted to say that we came back with 4 medals! In our first week at Forest School we had a Big Bug Hunt. We found lots of species including earwigs, millipedes, centipedes and spiders. We also created name badges using a palm drill.
As part of our topic Heroes and Villains, we have read extracts from 101 Dalmatians. In DT we created our own Dalmatian sock puppets.
Ash Class had great fun as they began to make items to sell on our summer fair stall. This week we made colourful bookmarks.
