The Old Forge Wartime House

Today Ash Class visited The Old Forge Wartime House in Sittingbourne. We had a fantastic time finding out about life in 1943. We learnt that many things were rationed including clothes and food. USA Treasure Hunt

We had great fun on our treasure hunt this week. We had to find the postal abbreviations for the fourteen states we will be studying on our road tip across America.  Then we found out what the postal abbreviations stood for and located the states on a map.          


Ash Class had a brilliant afternoon making castles. Thank you to all parents and carers who took part in our express event.                      


On Monday afternoon (10th October) we had great fun learning about catapults! First, we predicted which sweet would travel the furthest, we then created our own catapults using lolly sticks, elastic bands and plastic spoons. Police Visit – Year 4

On Friday the police visited Kemsley. The visiting policeman showed us the contents of the police car, including road traffic signs and a stinger. Dementia Awareness

On Thursday the children were given a presentation about Dementia, by representatives of Bluebird Care.
