Well done Year 4, for your superb performances in our Christmas play!
Year 4 were invited, by Swale in Bloom, to plant poppy seeds in the flower bed on Ypres Drive. We hope to see the beautiful red flowers next year.
Year 4 decorated a net for a 3D shape. Then, they filled their shapes with dried pasta and seeds to create percussion instruments. They investigated how to create different rhythms by shaking and tapping the instruments in a regular pattern.
Forest School have used their brand new fire pit! We have also enjoyed drinking hot chocolate and eating delicious gingerbread men that Cooking Club created with Mrs Hughes.
On Saturday, the boys football team competed in the Minterne football tournament. They played really well in their tournament together. Below are some photos from the competition.
During Term 6, Mr Gladwell, Mrs Andrews, Mrs Hughes and Mr Summerfield took a cricket team over to Sevenoaks for a tournament! The team played superbly and finished 4th! Below are some photos of the event.

On Tuesday, we took 40 children to the Julie Rose Stadium to compete against 5 other schools in a mini-olympics! Each child did a 70m sprint, 600m run, long jump, vortex throw and a relay.
