Year 5 had a busy morning this morning completing their minibeast sculptures. Some amazing creations were made from junk modelling materials. A big thank you to all the parents that braved the paint and came into class to help.
Our topic this term is ‘Beast Creator’ and the children started their learning by going on a hunt for minibeasts. The children were a lot braver than the adults; they were more than happy to use ‘pooters’ to collect a range of fascinating creepy-crawlies and identify them using insect identification keys.
A huge thank you to all the year 5 and 6 parents that came to our medieval banquet this week. The children had a great time cooking and eating all the food and it was lovely to see our school hall so full!
