Year 5 and 6 children can apply to become prefects within the school. Prefects are given significant areas of responsibility and are required to set an example to other children at all times. Prefects retain their position of responsibility for two half terms. All prefects can re-apply for their roles, or differing roles so everyone gets a number of opportunities to take part in this important part of school life.
