A team of 3 boys and 3 girls from year 3 and 4 went to Borden Grammar school on Monday to take part in the Quick Sticks hockey festival run by the Sittingbourne and Sheppey School Sports Partnership.
The morning started with a training session led by the young sports leaders, before we took part in a festival. There were 7 teams from 4 different schools in Swale.
Our team played very well winning 2 games and drawing one. The 11 goals came from Adam, Poppie and Max. We only just missed out on a medal position, finishing in 4th place.
