We were all very excited and some of us a little scared, when Mrs Legg bravely caught a spider who was having far too much fun in the Homecorner!
Instead of putting it outside, we wanted to have a closer look, so Mrs Legg popped the spider into a pot so we could study him.
We looked at spider books, counted how many legs and talked about where spiders live and how they catch their food.
Do not worry we did release the spider, he is happily living in the nursery garden hedge. ( no animals were harmed in the exploration)
