Great fun was had in Year 6 this week, when they explored “Rap” through their music lessons. After listening to, and joining in with an example they were then challenged to write their own words to fit the beat. The theme they were given was food. It proved to be quite a challenge!
Here is an example of what one of the groups created…..
“Spaghetti may be a little bit squishy,
goes with meatballs that are a little fishy!
Spaghetti may be a little bit squishy,
goes with meatballs that are a little fishy!
Pizza may be a little bit cheesy,
get some tomato sauce that is really really squeezy!
Pizza may be a little bit cheesy,
get some tomato sauce that is really really squeezy!”
