Utina gathered together today for our ‘Tribal Learning Challenge’ which focused on ‘The Daily Mile’. As a tribe we thought about and mind mapped the benefits of the daily mile. We used this mind map to design posters promoting the daily mile and made inspirational banners to encourage people when completing the mile. We also voted on which song we should have as our tribal song, the result was “The Eye of the Tiger” which reflects our logo and motto of ‘powerful’. We also considered which sporting events we could carry out as a whole school using the daily mile and what information we could include on a daily mile noticeboard. To finish off our day, as a tribe, we all took part in the daily mile. Well done to all of Utina Tribe for their excellent behaviour and hard work today!
