Willow Class are taking part in a countrywide project & competition that teaches children all about potatoes; where they come from, how they grow and that potatoes are a healthy food source. This week we planted our potatoes. We will harvest them, record their weight then take them to the school kitchen to be cooked. We will then enjoy having our potatoes served to us at lunchtime. Along with Kemsley, many schools across the country will register the weight of their heaviest potato in the hope of winning the competition. Let’s hope Willow Class grow the heaviest!!
