Year 2 had great fun ‘kick starting’ their new topic ‘Land Ahoy!’ this morning. They listened to a secret message from a wise, old pirate who told us his treasure was hidden in our school grounds. To find the treasure we hunted for letters around the grounds then put them in number order to read the hidden message. We discovered the treasure was hidden in the woodlands; it didn’t take us long find the jewels & gold coins!
