This week Cherry Class have been reading Lost and Found, we had great fun testing our ‘materials’ to find out which was the best for a boat. We tested plastic packages, paper and thick card. We decided that plastic was the best material to make a boat from as long as it didn’t have a hole in the bottom. We also found that although the thick card pots floated, they did start to soak up the water and eventually these sunk.
The children really enjoyed this activity!
