Our caterpillars are one week old and look how they have grown! They are beginning to turn into their cocoons! We are watching them carefully to hopefully find butterflies soon!!

We all looked fab dressed as our favourite book character yesterday. We had great fun acting out stories! In the afternoon we had year 3 join us to read stories to us. It was a super day! Well done everyone!
Last week we had a lot of fun in the woods. We found a fox’s hole and used our knowledge of nocturnal animals to determine the fox must be asleep. We also had our snack in the woods and enjoyed playing with the sticks and looking for bugs.
Each Monday and Thursday we are inviting our grownup in to share a story with us. We love this time and have read lots of different books! Thank you! We hope to see you again on Monday morning!

Today we explored the new Courtyard garden. We loved looking for all the new things, a fairy garden, wind chimes, bird houses, butterflies, a vegetable patch, beautiful flowers and much more!
Cherry Class had a great time at the beach today! We were very lucky to have beautiful weather, when we got to the beach the tide was out so we could look in the rockpools for crabs, starfish and other sea creatures. Cherry Class enjoyed taking part in the Eco Councils Bird Watching Event. We took our RSPB bird spotting sheet and bird feed to the woodlands; we sat quietly as we watched for birds. We saw Pigeons and Sea Gulls, magpies and Wagtails.
