2015/16

There have been some significant changes to the way children are assessed at the end of Key Stage 2 with national testing being in line with the more challenging new national curriculum.  As a result the outcomes in 2015/16 are not comparable to previous years as the expectation in the tests is now much higher.  The percentage of children reaching the expected standard nationally is lower than in previous years due to this higher expectation.

The outcomes for the school in 2015/16 are shown below.  Please note that more information will be added to this page once it has been made available to the school.  Provisional national figures have also been shown so a comparison can be made.

66% of children achieved the expected standard or above in Reading, Writing and Maths (National figure = 53%)

69% of children achieved the expected standard or above in Reading (National figure = 66%).  Average scaled score of 102 (National: 103)

72% of children achieved the expected standard or above in Writing (National figure = 74%).

72% of children achieved the expected standard or above in Maths (National figure = 70%).  Average scaled score of 101 (National: 103)

Progress measures were as follows (all progress measures are above the national floor):

Reading: 0.4 (confidence interval -2.0 to 2.8)

Writing: -0.7 (confidence interval -3.0 to 1.6)

Maths: -0.9 (confidence interval -2.9 to 1.1)

10% of children attained the higher standard in reading

3% of children were working at greater depth within writing
