We would like to remind you of the Government’s message ‘Hands, Face, Space’.

To help keep everyone at Kemsley safe, please can all parents and carers remember to adhere to the COVID-secure safety measures that have been put in place. If we all work together, we can do our best to keep everyone safe.

As there has been a national increase in the number of Covid-19 infections being recorded, it is in everyone’s best interests to try to keep the infection rate down.  Therefore, we very much appreciate you wearing a face covering when dropping off and collecting your children from school.

Thank you for your ongoing support and for the parent feedback which is warmly received.

At Kemsley we strive to create a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment in which our children feel safe, loved and confident, whilst developing the skills, passions and interests to support them in their future education.

We provide a homely atmosphere in which the staff know all the children well and every child’s needs are valued to enable them to meet their full potential and to instil a lifelong love of learning. Our qualified and experienced staff are led by a qualified teacher.

We aim to provide unique and exciting experiences and opportunities to promote development in all areas of learning. We believe in the value of learning through play and place a great emphasis on exploration of the natural world through the use of our woodland area.

Our modern, purpose-built areas are bright and clear allowing the children space to be creative, explore and become actively engaged in their surroundings. Emphasis is placed on using observation and reflection to create an environment that supports the children’s wellbeing and involvement and is responsive to their needs and interests.

We draw on a range of early childhood theorists and approaches to create a calm and peaceful environment where the space is resourced to support the development of communication and language skills whilst the children are encouraged to become independent, confident and responsible.

We value our relationship with our families and we strive to build and sustain close, respectful and supportive partnerships to ensure we are collaborating to celebrate and share the children’s learning. Online learning journals are used to encourage parental engagement by sharing learning moments between home and school.

Registration is free and no deposits are charged.  You are welcome to visit and chat with our nursery staff about your requirements.
